Purpose -To raise awareness of what we can do to implement change 

To become more effective at recycling our school’s waste and reduce the amount of items we send to landfill.

To empower learners to make positive changes in their local environment/community 

To promote the 3 R’s across the school environment:
Recycle; Reduce; Reuse

 

Role

• Carry out an Environmental Reviews of the school and take a lead in delivering the Eco-Committee Action plan

• Monitor and evaluate the action plan throughout the year 

• Support school and wider community to develop their decision making to support a more sustainable future

• Establish and maintain community links
