Pencoedtre Learning Community (PLC)

​

We work very closely with the other four primary schools in our cluster - Oakfield, Jenner Park, Cadoxton and Colcot Primary Schools. The work we do together is varied and is always based upon our agreed PLC vision and purposes. The priorities for our collaborative work are Curriculum, Culture and Community - we believe that we have a responsibility to ensure that all of our children and their families have high quality learning and wellbeing experiences in order that they are better able to move through their primary and secondary school journeys in the most seamless and successful way possible. Whilst the primary schools are all different, as a collective of leaders and practitioners, we strongly believe that our learners must have a shared basis of knowledge, skills and experiences. In order to do this, the bulk of our collaborative success has been in aligning our curriculum, policies and staff professional development.
